Anurag Pramod Murarka, operating under the aliases 'elonmuskwhm' and 'la2nyc,' has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for running an international money laundering business. His operations, which spanned from April 2021 until his arrest on September 29, 2023, involved laundering over $20 million using cryptocurrency to conceal criminal proceeds. Murarka primarily targeted individuals involved in criminal activities, advertising his services on dark web marketplaces to exchange crypto for cash.
